The story focuses on Chikkun, an alien duck and young prince of the distant Star R which is a small planet located at the far end of the universe. Along with his advisor, Takkun (a robot shaped like a magician’s hat), and his robot bodyguard, Jitabata, Chikkun travels to Earth to stop the villainous Dr. Bell and his spider sidekick, Giji-Giji, from turning it into an evil planet.
Japanese toy company Gakken produced a variety of toys based on Chikkun Takkun including a set of six characters which featured the two seen in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off – Jitabata and Giji-Giji.
