Description
This photo of London punk rockers The Clash was taken backstage at the Manchester Apollo Theatre in February of 1980. Fresh off the release of their album London Calling, The Clash hit the stage for two consecutive nights at the Apollo.

Notes
- In addition to his time with The Clash, guitarist Mick Jones went on to be a co-founder of Big Audio Dynamite – a band which appeared on the Ferris Bueller’s Day Off soundtrack. Additionally, Jones was also a one-time member of the UK supergroup General Public which is also featured in the film.
