Seen in FBDO

A copy of the textbook is seen twice in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. The first time is at approximately 00:05:51 when Simone Adamly’s name is called by the Economics teacher. The book can be seen in front of Simone on her desk.

The same book is seen again a few minutes later at approximately 00:13:18 when the payphone is passed along from three male students to a female student passing by. As she greets Ferris over the phone, she holds a copy of this book in her right hand.

In both cases, the book is only seen in the full screen and open matte versions of FBDO as the widescreen version cuts the book from the bottom of each scene.

Several later printings of this book look similar but vary in color. For example, the seventh printing from 1965 (seen below) features blue lettering and binding rather than red.
