Seen in FBDO
There isn’t a perfect shot of Ferris’s skis in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, but they are seen well enough to be recognized. The first example comes pretty quickly as Jeanie pleasantly suggests that Ferris “bite the big one” [00:01:47].

Description
Ferris Bueller’s skis are a pair of Rossignol S3 snow skis with Salomon 626 bindings. This particular version of the S3 was produced around 1984.
The Rossignol S3 skis were mountain skis with a slightly wider design. They were a good option for skiers who wanted a versatile ski that could handle a variety of conditions.

Finding This Item
The Rossignol brand name was pretty easy to decipher but confirming that this version of the S3 ski was the one seen in Ferris’s bedroom took a little closer look and some minor photo manipulation. Looking at the skis in the scene with Ferris sitting at his keyboard, two small red “lines” are noticeable just below the “R” in Rossignol (this becomes more clear after adjusting the contrast and brightness of the screenshot). These “lines” are the Rossignol logo and “S3” visible in the images above.
